CJ149 series Switching Capacitor Contactor (hereinafter referred to as "Contactor")
The contactor is suitable for the reactive power compensating device up to rated AC current 50Hz, rated voltage 380V and Switched capacity below 40Kvar, which is used for making & breaking the circuits of capacitors. It can restrain effectively the capacitor to excellent extent from inrush when switch-on and compose with thermal overload relay as an integral to protect overload current operation.
Nowadays, it is one hang-up confusing the reactive power compensating industry for the inrush current on the capacity auto switching. For the old products of switching capacitor contactor such as CJ16, CJ19 and B series etc., they have the characteristics of short service life, inferior quality and burning contactors frequently, which greatly destroyed distribution equipment and lead to heavy economic loss.
In order to solve the above quality problem of products, this device adopts quality domestic raw and processed material to develop and design the technological requirements of switching contactor. There has been offered one technological requirements for the switching capacitor with the properties of small size, light, high precision, high making & breaking capacity and dependable performance. Its characteristic is listed as follows:
A. The device is suitable for the quick service with dimming resistance circuit of contactor. The dimming resistance circuit makes circuit at first and shunts heavy current of several tenfolds through main contact when the contactor switch on, restraining from impacting arc etc..
B. When the contactor switches off from power off, the dimming resistance also makes circuits at first, then after the main contact has been broken, the resistance will return to its original post for cutting power immediately at any moment and shunting the current through main contact. It bears the function for the above two technology to prevent effectively the circuits from the surge of heavy inrush current of several tenfolds that would lead to fusing and arc resistance(this is main part of the patent, which would not be copied), which will protect the dimming resistance from destroy and prolong the service life of the contactor.

C. The product clears thoroughly the influence on the service life of capacity contactor by inrush and arc, it increases the possibility of enhancing switched capacitor banks and compensating precision.
D. It is convenient to install. The development aim of the device is to show the traditional features and full-fresh idea with elegant appearance, it is important that the installation mode is similar to the old products that will facilitate customersrefix on the original basis.
